Take your sewing skills to the next level in this intermediate-level class focused on creating your very own costume! You'll learn pattern modification, fabric selection, and construction techniques specific to costume-making.

This hands-on course is perfect for those with basic sewing experience who want to craft a unique, wearable creation. Come with an idea -or get inspired - and leave with a costume that’s ready to impress! 

Students will provide their own basic sewing supplies for this class.

Have you ever wanted to learn to sew? This class is an exciting opportunity to not only have fun, but to learn a skill that will benefit you for the rest of your life! Learn the basics of sewing including: how to use a sewing machine, reading pattern instructions and understanding how to follow them, picking fabrics, sewing simple garmets, ironing garments, and understanding finishing touches.

Upon the successful completion of this class, students will have the ability to sew a simple garment start to finish and will feel the pride that sewing brings!
