WT Social Media Marketing via Zoom

Embark on a journey into the dynamic world of social media marketing with our foundational course. Boost your online presence with the useful tools taught in this class. Students will explore key platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and more. By the end of the course, participants will not only grasp the fundamental principles of digital marketing but will also have a comprehensive understanding of leveraging diverse social media channels for effective brand promotion and engagement, setting the stage for a successful entry into the ever-evolving realm of digital advertising.
This class consists of 3 total sessions, 2 hours each. The class meets from 5-7pm on Zoom.
***Students must supply their own laptop for the class.***
Refund Schedule and Drop Dates
Last day to drop a Community Education or Workforce Training class with a refund:
One or two-session workshops – one working day prior to class start date
Three class sessions or more – two working days prior to the first class
There are no refunds allowed beyond these deadlines: You are liable for payment of classes at the time of registration and will be held liable unless the classes are dropped within the refund period.
If you withdraw due to circumstances beyond your control such as a medical emergency, you may file a petition for a refund. The date of receipt of the petition, length of class attendance, and cost of course materials and services may be considered in denying or reducing the amount requested. WT Introduction to Canva

Would you like to learn how to make colorful flyers and attractive presentations? This class is for anyone who is looking to learn a new skill, while developing their brand and perfecting their social media and marketing materials on a budget. A basic understanding of Canva, creating a basic design using a template, adding images and text boxes and changing the color of fonts is helpful but optional.
This hands-on course will help students: Understand the fundamental capabilities and features of Canva. Create a brand kit and understand what makes a good brand. Develop effective graphics to aid in increasing visibility on social media platforms. Follow step-by-step tutorials to create stunning designs, create a branded logo and learn about trademark and copyright guidelines. Discover a world of color combinations, contrasts, and meanings for your brand.
