This national evidence-based community exercise program developed for midlife and older women features exercises that assist women in maintaining muscle mass strength and function. It is also easy and fun!

Students should bring a mat and a set of hand weights to class.

In this engaging 2-session class, participants will embark on an exciting journey into the world of DIY t-shirt making using a heat press. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner, this class is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to create personalized, professional-quality t-shirts, hats and bags right from the comfort of your home.

By the end of the class, you'll not only have the skills to create your own custom t-shirts but also the confidence to explore and experiment with various design techniques. Whether you're looking to express your individual style, launch a small business, or simply enjoy a fun and rewarding hobby, this class is your gateway to limitless creativity in the world of garment making. 

Each student will create a t shirt, hat and bag. In addition to the cost of the class, each student is required to bring $20 to the instructor for supplies on the first day of class.

WT-First Aid, CPR and AED Certification

This one session course is designed to prepare participants to provide First Aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This course teaches the critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrive. This course includes infant/child First Aid and CPR. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive the American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED two-year certification. Cards are issued electronically through the American Heart Association and may take up to two weeks to arrive.

This class is 1 session and meets in Patriot Hall Room 206.

Weaving Baskets: Country Sea Grass Basket

Come make your very own basket! Learn how to weave a market basket that you can take home and decorate any environment!

A $55 fee for your supply kit and handle (natural and colored reed/rattan) should be paid to the Instructor at the beginning of class in the form of cash or check.

Please bring a sack lunch and these additional supplies: spray bottle, small bucket, soft tape measure, scissors, towel, pencil, flat-head screwdriver, and 4” zip ties.

Jewelry Metalsmithing

Metalsmithing is the art and practice of forming and fabricating metal into jewelry. In this class, students will learn how to make copper, brass, and precious metal jewelry by using tools to produce pierced (cut-work) designs that reflect their individual style. Students will have access to the instructor's complete collection of equipment for forming, shaping, casting, coloring, and polishing.

An additional fee for supplies of $30 for new students or $15 for returning students should be paid to the Instructor on the first day of class in the form of cash or check. 

All students should bring safety glasses to class, and returning students should bring their jewelry tools as well.

WT-Guest Service Gold®

This comprehensive program is designed to train line-level employees to engage and provide memorable guest service. Students will learn to identify and apply the seven principles of customer engagement in the workplace, identify golden opportunities to personalize an experience and inspire others and provide visitors with authenticity, intuition, empathy, delight, delivery, and initiative. Following the training, students who pass the certification exam with a 70% or greater will receive the Certified Guest Service Professional® designation.This is a one session class that is completed in 4 hours.

About the instructor: Ken Henson, owner of Refettorio Consulting, will share his experience of 25+ years in the restaurant industry, employee management and motivation, leadership, multi-unit management, food/labor costing and analysis, P&L, restaurant opening, leadership development and process implementation.
