WT Introduction to Canva via Zoom

Would you like to learn how to make colorful flyers and attractive presentations? This class is for anyone who is looking to learn a new skill, while developing their brand and perfecting their social media and marketing materials on a budget. A basic understanding of Canva, creating a basic design using a template, adding images and text boxes and changing the color of fonts is helpful but optional.
This hands-on course will help students: Understand the fundamental capabilities and features of Canva. Develop effective graphics to aid in increasing visibility on social media platforms. Follow step-by-step tutorials to create stunning designs, create a branded logo and learn about trademark and copyright guidelines. Discover a world of color combinations, contrasts, and meanings for your brand.
Learn all these skills in 3 convenient - 2 hour sessions on Zoom.

WT-Spanish for Educators via Zoom

This course is an overview of basic Spanish phrases with an emphasis on developing a basic vocabulary for teachers, school administrators, and staff. An emphasis is placed on pronunciation, role playing, and commands. Students will learn to speak job-specific and conversational Spanish. There is no grammar, complex rules, or verb conjugations to learn. This class is designed for newcomers to Spanish. No prior experience is necessary. For those working in the field of education it is important today to be able to effectively communicate in Spanish. Organizations can improve teamwork and service with an improved ability to talk to Spanish-speaking associates, parents, and students. This course is a non-traditional approach to language learning resulting in proficiency in a short time frame.

WT Adobe Illustrator for Beginners via Zoom

Delve into graphic design and explore Adobe Illustrator’s full potential with this hands-on instructional workshop. Learn to design high-quality vector graphics for branding, typography, web design, or any other digital project where eye-catching graphics are a must. Adobe Illustrator is the most important tool in a graphic designer’s workflow, especially when it comes to creating designs for print and digital campaigns. Students will learn the system interface tools, document preparation, color and pattern design, tips and tricks to add texture and style elements, drawing, typography and exporting files for print and digital applications.
Learn all these skills in 3 convenient - 2-hour sessions. Thursdays 4/10 to 4/24 from 3pm to 5pm.
Classes meet on Zoom.

Mindset Transformation: You Can Edit Your Story

Our identities shape the way we think, feel, and act, often leading us to make choices that reinforce our current self-concept. But what if you could edit that story? By understanding the link between your beliefs, behaviors, and self-image, you'll discover how to shift your mindset and align your actions with the person you want to become. Through practical exercises, guided reflections, and mindset tools, you'll learn how to reframe limiting beliefs, challenge self-imposed boundaries, and rewrite the narrative of your life. This course empowers you to move beyond your past conditioning and step confidently into a new version of yourself—one that is aligned with your deepest aspirations and desires.

Mind Body Spirit Health
with Jennifer Gaddy
This course explores the interconnected nature of the mind, body, and spirit concerning human health. Students will understand the importance of autonomic regulation through a survey of related science, medicine, and philosophy. Students will learn evidence-based mindfulness techniques proven to enhance the function of the autonomic nervous system. Students will investigate the current science and philosophy surrounding the nature of consciousness and develop their own healthy habits.
This two-session course is taught by Jennifer Gaddy, an experienced naturopathic physician and college instructor.

American Sign Language: Level 1

Come learn the basic signs to communicate with others who rely on ASL. In this class, you will learn the signs for the alphabet, various emotions, colors, foods, and daily conversational skills in a fun and inclusive environment!

American Sign Language: Level 2

This ASL Level 2 course is designed to continue your skill development in expressive signing. The focus of this course is to prepare students for non-verbal interaction and communication with members of the deaf community. You'll learn useful vocabulary and you'll be able to hold meaningful conversations about various topics. But it's not all serious - you'll also learn how to tell jokes, use common expressions and sayings, and relay anecdotes to your audience.
